If These Walls Could Talk...

I adore old houses.  I don't recall the exact moment the romance began, but it must have been very early in my childhood because all my earlier recollections are associated with scents and sounds, and when I think of old houses my mind immediately jumps to the smell of a smokehouse and the sound of small feet running across a hardwood floor.  So, naturally, this blog will often become sickeningly rhapsodic from time to time when I see a breathtaking example of our country's earlier architecture.  Today, I want to bring to your attention one such example.  This fine old gal, perhaps of the Italianate persuasion with a little "Queenly" air, is up for sale... makes me wish I had a yen to live in Pulaski.
